Between November and February, it is the ‘cold season’ but by European and North American standards, this does not mean the weather will be too cold to enjoy a round of golf in Hua Hin.  The rain of the proceeding months’ drifts away, to leave clear skies and the temperature tends to drift between 20 and 25 degrees during daylight hours.  There also tends to be a breeze, especially around the coastal areas and this can bring refreshment to golfers in Hua Hin, especially if the temperatures are reaching 25 degrees.  Therefore, it’s little surprise November to February is considered the high season for golf in Hua Hin and prices can be at their most expensive, during this period of the year.

The second season falls between March and May and although the former can still see a pleasant temperature for golf in Hua Hin, as the month progresses, the temperature really begins to rise.  April and May can be very humid, and temperatures of 30 degrees are not uncommon, making things hot on the golf course.  Hotel prices are not as high as they are from November to February and while it may be nice for a beach holiday, you need to take into account the heat when playing golf and for some, 30 degrees can be little too much.  However, if you are used to it and enjoy playing in hot conditions, the months between March and May would be ideal for you.

Finally, we come into the period of June and September and this is when the rain starts to fall in Hua Hin.  The downpours do not tend to last much more than an hour but they can happen on a daily basis and can be quite heavy at times.  That being said, due to the fact the rain comes in short bursts, it rarely ruins a round of golf and after taking some shelter, courses dry out quickly and you will be back out there, enjoying your round.  During this time of year, some great bargains can be had in Hua Hin, in terms of travel and accommodation and golf courses become less crowded.
