Before we plan a trip, we recommend checking the cheap hostels in Krakow. The localisation is crucial to many aspects of such a trip – the time of the ride to interesting places and the means of transportation into the city. We propose one which is located in very suitable place.
How about living in the city centre? A place that is close to everything? Which is easy to get to? Then choose the Old Town. This kind of location doesn’t have to be out of our budget. All you have to do is to choose the right place and type of accommodation. Hostels are the best alternative – they combine comfort with low costs. You should be careful, though, to get the right standard.
Transport to the city and from our base.
Draggo House in Krakow is by the Gołębia street. It is the centre of the city. As you can check on Google Maps, it is only 280 metres from the Main Square which is a 3 minutes’ walk. This location gives you many options for better organisation – for both, individual clients and groups.
First of all, you do not have to worry about the transport. Most of the main attractions you will find within 2 kilometres (but most of them within 1 km) from Draggo – including Kazimierz. What is more, the bus and the Main Train station are very close. You may walk the distance, but you may also choose the public transport. The nearest bus stop is 260 m from Draggo.

Krakow’s attractions
Everything we mentioned before wouldn’t have a point if not for the attractions the city has to offer. Krakow draws the history enthusiasts as party people, but, also, lovers of historical of contemporary art. It is worth it to expand the regular tours (The Main Square, St. Mary’s Church, Barbican) and see the Stained Glass Museum or Contemporary Art Museum MOCAK, or to visit a botanical garden of Jagiellonian University.
